Registering & Purchasing the Online TABC Certification Class

1) How do I register for the online TABC certification course?
First, you will click on the Enroll Now link on the home page. You will then be directed to the course catalog page to select the online Texas TABC Seller-Server Certification Course and any additional shipping options that you may need.  Once you have confirmed your order, you will see the registration page.  Registration only takes a minute or two. Once you have purchased online TABC class, you can begin at any time by clicking on the course title "Texas TABC Seller-Server Certification Course".  For detailed instructions on how to register, review the Guide to Getting Certified.

2) The registration page is asking me to give my driver’s license or state ID number.  I do not have a license number. What should I enter?
You do not have to have a driver’s license or state ID to register for our online TABC class.  We only use this number as the unique identifier in our system for you to login to your account.  We do not report this information to the TABC.

If you do not have a driver’s license or state ID number, you should use another number that you can easily remember.  We suggest using the combination of your birthday. For example, if your birthday is October 24, 1985, your login ID could be 10241985.

3) Why do I have to provide my social security number and date of birth?
In order for us to issue your TABC certificate and submit your training information to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, we must collect certain information about you. The TABC requires that we collect your social security number and date of birth as part of your training record.  Failure to provide valid information will result in cancellation of your TABC certification.

4) What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) as well as PayPal.

5) Can I pay with a cashier’s check or money order?
No, we do not accept cashier's checks or money orders; however, we do accept PayPal. You can set up a PayPal account for free at www.paypal.com. You can link your bank account to your PayPal account in order to pay for the TABC course.

6) Do you accept pre-paid credit cards, pre-paid debit cards, or Visa or MasterCard gift cards?
No, our system does not accept pre-paid credit cards, pre-paid debit cards, or gift cards.

7) I want to use someone else’s credit card to pay for the TABC course. Can I do this?
Yes, you can do this.  You should enter your information in the personal information section of the registration page.  In the billing information section, you should enter the name and credit card information of the person that is paying for the course.

8) I have a discount code that I would like to use. Where do I enter the code to receive the discount?
During registration, there is a place to enter the code on the Confirm Your Order page.  The screen will say “Do you have a discount code or voucher number? If so, enter the code above and click Update Cart.”  You should enter the code in the appropriate field. It is very important that you click the Update Cart button after you enter the code. If you do not click Update Cart, the discount will not be applied to your order.

9) Why do I have to answer personal validation questions?
Per TABC regulation, our online TABC certification class includes a personal validation system.  The validation system is used to authenticate you as a user while you progress through the TABC course. Before you may begin the course, you must answer the personal validation questions. It is important for you to remember your answers to these questions as you will be required to answer these same questions at random times throughout the TABC course.

Taking the Online TABC Certification Class

1) I already created an account and purchased the online TABC course, but I am unable to log back into my account. What do I do?
You can log back into your account with the driver’s license or state ID number and password that you entered during registration.  You must enter your license number exactly as you supplied it during registration in order for the system to recognize your account.  If you do not enter it exactly as you did during registration, the system will not recognize you.

Your login is case sensitive; therefore, if you used upper or lower case letters as part of your license number or password when you registered, you must enter them exactly the same way in order to log back into your account.  If you do not remember the driver’s license number and/or password you provided during registration, please contact us at support@onlinetabccertification.com and we can supply you with the correct login information.

6) I failed the final exam twice and my TABC course is locked. How can I continue?
Per TABC regulation, you must take the entire TABC training class again from the beginning before you can take the final exam again.  However, we do not make you pay for the TABC class again.  If your course is locked because you failed the exam twice, please contact us at support@onlinetabccertification.com and a representative will make the necessary changes to your account for you to continue.
